HappyVillage Artwork™ opened its doors back in December 2012, and looking back, it’s been such a beautiful journey!
I live a low-key, quiet life here in Greece with my husband and our two children. If you’re wondering where all this inspiration comes from, it goes back to my childhood—I grew up spending magical weekends in our family's village home with my sister, cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We gathered around a huge marble table beneath the vineyard, sharing food, laughter, stories and the kind of happiness that felt endless. The nostalgia and pure happiness of the 80s and 90s still inspire me today, and I try to bring that feeling into every miniature I create—a feeling of coming H O M E.𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐬;
My work is a blend of art and precision. I hold degrees in Graphic Design, Painting Conservation & Restoration, and Architectural Design. For over 17 years, I worked as an archaeological draughtswoman. Imagine me for nearly two decades, sitting in the dirt, drawing ancient ruins, golden jewelry, and sacred burials.They also explain why I have such a soft spot for earthy colours, aged textures and anything that looks as though it has a story to tell.
Today, all those worlds somehow meet in my studio...𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭;
My workshop is my sanctuary. I create while listening to music, surrounded by clay, paint, sketches and cups of coffee. It's a slow process, and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I’m working on those teeny-tiny brush strokes, I literally hold my breath to keep my hand steady. Architectural detail requires absolute devotion, and I pour that into every piece I make for every material is always chosen with so much care.
I never repeat myself. Making art is a challenge I adore, and I find pure fulfillment in every unique piece that leaves my hands to reach your home.
